Elon Musk and Dogecoin-inspired meme coin, BabyDoge, recently announced the launch of the BabyDoge Swap mainnet which will take place on September 21, 2021.
“We will announce the official launch date of the mainnet #BabyDogeSwap tomorrow at 10:15am EST ! 🐶 ,” wrote a statement from BabyDoge’s official Twitter account @BabyDogeCoin on September 20, 2022 yesterday.
Based on the announcement, it means that the mainnet will be released on September 21. Previously, the developer had released the Swap testnet on BNB Chain in mid-August. The new swap protocol is expected to allow users to swap tokens, yielding and staking. The launch of this decentralized exchange was announced in mid-April.
For additional information, this popular meme coin competitor of Shiba Inu (SHIB) and Floki Inu (FLOKI) was first released on June 1, 2021. BabyDoge’s appearance was first after Elon Musk, who is a supporter of Dogecoin, wrote a Twitter tweet that read: “Baby Doge, doo, doo, doo, doo”. Musk penned his tweet on July 1, 2021. Not long after that the Meme token BabyDoge was born.

Despite being dubbed the meme coin, BabyDoge seems to have caught the attention of a number of investors. Based on U.Today report, BabyDoge is emerging as the most widely used smart contract.
On-chain crypto tracker WhaleStats BSC shared a post that meme coin BabyDoge has appeared on the list of the most used smart contracts, now occupying the number five position. Over the past 24-hour period, the use of these smart contracts has decreased by 21.78 percent. Currently, this metric stands at 1.16 percent.
The number of holders of this meme digital currency currently amounts to 1,617,267. The coin is currently trading at a price of 0.0000000001086 US dollars, based on CoinMarketCap data.
